about
In 1992 Matthew Herbert released a track called 'Royal Wedding' which used a series of samples from the wedding ceremony of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer.
Now Matthew is planning a sequel. 'Royal Wedding Pt.2' is set to be released on May 8th through Accidental and will utilise sections of the ceremony between Prince William and Catherine Middleton.
"At a time of massive public sector cuts to pay for irregular and dubious private sector business practices, the scale and ambition of the wedding between william and kate seems nothing short of obscene. the flaunting of such inherited wealth, privilege, constitutional right and class serves as a sharp reminder that we are further than ever from closing the gap between the rich and poor, both in the uk and around the world. to quote spiral tribe: 'forward the revolution!'"
